XI International High-Tech Jobs Championship "HI-TECH-2024" was held in Yekaterinburg between 13 and 17 November 2024. Yuri Yevstigneyev and Danila Yefimov, our engineers, participated as part of Roscosmos team and demonstrated excellent results. We congratulate our colleagues on winning a silver medal and wish them further achievements!

Two months ago, Yuri Yevstigneev, a process engineer, and Danila Yefimov, a computer-controlled machine operator, were the second-place winners for the category "Turning on CNC machines" at the “Roscosmos Young Professionals 2024” corporate championship, held in Kaliningrad. Getting the second place in the corporate championship allowed Yuri and Danila to join the Roscosmos State Corporation team to participate in the International HI-TECH 2024 Championship in Yekaterinburg.

More than a thousand competitors and experts aged 16 to 49 years old, representing 14 of the country's largest holdings and corporations, were competing in 28 competencies. 500 participants of them were the ones from the rocket and space industry. Assignments for the participants were being prepared based on the requests from enterprises and aimed at optimizing manufacture processes.

The Roscosmos team was honored as one of the leaders of the international competition, having won 11 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze medals. Such high effectiveness has been the result of tight-knit team of professionals, who was ready to meet any complex challenges.

Yuri Yevstigneev, the participant of the HI-TECH 2024 Championship in the "Turning on CNC machines" category, shared his impressions of the Championship:

-        I was very glad that I was able to qualify for the Championship and meet the best specialists in the similar fields of activity during the competitions. I’d like to emphasize the special atmosphere, which combined both excitement and joy at the same time, and would like to express my gratitude to the organizers for holding such events.

Danila Yefimov, an expert in the "Turning on CNC machines" competence:

-        The silver medal at the XI International Championship indicates, that we clearly still have some way to go. We are sure, we are able to get our gold. After the internal corporate championship in Kaliningrad, we had only a month to prepare for the International Competition. To say that this is little means to say nothing, but thanks to the existing skills and well-coordinated teamwork, Yuri and I were able to achieve the excellent result. Before we left, the fellow colleagues asked us to bring souvenirs from the Urals – but we’ve brought the Victory!

Young professionals from Russian Space Systems Holding as part of the ROSCOSMOS team took five prizes at the HI-TECH-2024 Championship. According to the results of the competitions, they won gold in the competencies of "Digital Metrology", "Digital Transformation" and "Development of Manufacturing Systems (lean manufacturing)" and silver in the "Recruiting" and "Turning on CNC Machines" competencies.

HI-TECH-2024, which is now in its eleventh year, has become a real forge of personnel with its strong incentive for the participants to improve their professionalism and their skills.
