PURPOSE of the COMPLEX

The “Kasatka-R” high-resolution spaceborne radar complex is intended for multimode remote sensing of Earth surface in polarimetric and interferometric survey modes. All-weather and round-the-clock (regardless of weather conditions) Earth remote sensing is carried out in the interests of the Ministry of Emergency Situations; the Ministry of Agriculture; Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadaster, and Cartography; other ministries and departments, as well as Russian regions, using X-band radar system.
