From May 12 to 16, 2021, the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center (the city of Kubinka, Moscow suburb) for the first time, hosted the 13th International Salon "Integrated Security", where security facilities were exhibited.

More than 260 companies took part in the Salon, where the latest developments, achievements and innovations in the field of safety and security were demonstrated.

Our Institute presented the mockup of Mobile Transmit/Receive Complex (MTRC), which has now entered its second year of continuous operation in the city of Yakutsk on the territory of the Main Regional Office of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya). RIPI’s engineers jointly with the specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations ensure the functioning of the MTPC for carrying out space monitoring of flood situations and fires in the Far Eastern and Siberian Federal Districts.

Roman Shevchuk, RIPI’s Deputy Head of technical complex, explained:

- Last year the MTRC successfully proved itself in Yakutiya, providing 422 sessions for receiving and processing satellite data: 334 sessions of data reception from the Canopus-V series spacecraft and 88 sessions - from foreign satellites.

In 2021, the complex started to work on April 14 and to date it has already provided reception and processing of about 150 communication sessions from Russian and foreign spacecraft.

The MTRC operation in Yakutiya is carried out under the terms of an agreement between the Roscosmos State Corporation and the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the field of space activities.
