Awards

The Institute was awarded for success in creating space technology:

• two orders of the Red Banner of Labor (1971, 1976)
• three medals of the USSR Academy of Sciences:
  • in honor of the launch of the world's first artificial Earth satellite
  • to mark the world's first manned space flight
  • in commemoration of the world's first manned flight into outer space during flight Voskhod-2 satellite ship
