Radio-electronic complexes for low-orbital satellite communications systems, ensuring data transmission worldwide Print

(Leadership - Kotov Alexander Viktorovich (phone: +7 (499) 204-87-52))

The Complex represents an ensemble of on-board retransmitters, ground stations and portable small-sized terminals, providing users worldwide with communication. Data readout is permitted from unattended transmitting terminals (sensors) with subsequent notification of the recipients about terminal location. The Complex operates at  VHF- and S- bands, at up to 64 Kbit/s.

The telephony technologies are continuously evolving, including the ones, connected with the intersatellite data transmission. One of the Institute’s projects ( “Gonets”) is dedicated to developing this technology. Work on the “Gonets” project is conducted in cooperation with OJSC “Gonets” space system” and JSC Academician M.F. Reshetnev «Information Satellite Systems».
